Places to Stay

  • Hotel Pemaquid. 150 yards from the Lighthouse. The Hotel offers a large stone-fireplaced livingroom/lobby, separate library room, enclosed sun porch (coffee served on this porch daily between 7-10:00 a.m.).
  • The Bradley Inn. A coastal Maine full-service country inn that has been providing respite for weary travelers for well over a century. Ideally situated in mid-coast Maine, this New Harbor inn is located at the tip of the Pemaquid peninsula -- a stones throw from the historic Pemaquid Lighthouse.

  • Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park. One of the most beautiful spots on earth!
  • Pemaquid Beach. Amidst the rocks of the Maine coast, don't miss this quarter-mile of sand beach.
  • Fort William Henry. One of northern New England's earliest communities, rich in archeological history, Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site is a place not to be missed during a visit to Midcoast Maine. More infomation from the Friends of Colonial Pemaquid website.
  • Hardy Boat Cruises. Operates the Monhegan Island ferry and various daily sightseeing cruises out of New Harbor.
  • Monhegan Island. A wonderful place to visit, 9 miles offshore from the Point.
  • Bristol Parks. In addition the Lighthouse Park and the Beach, there are several other park to visit in Bristol.
